Played on the Ayn Odin (2022) in Standard Mode Game Settings: Vulkan, New Dynamic Recompiler, CPU Affinity, Compute Shader, SH2 Cache, and with Rendering Resolution at 720p. The game is fully playable from start to finish. Sound is pretty good for the most part, and there are only very minor graphical glitches (special effects being occasionally glitchy, a single line of garbage pixels covering the very bottom of the screen during most cutscenes). The only gameplay issue I ran into is that the frame rate becomes a bit choppy in certain spots in the game's last half, even with Odin's Performance Mode turned on. I also didn't test out save states, just in case the game would crash on me like last time.
Played with GPU Tesselation, CPU Affinity, Compute Shader, SH2 Cache, Open GL, and New Dynamic Recompiler. First impressions weren't the greatest. Audio didn't start playing in the first level until I paused, then unpaused the game. The game also loaded into a black screen before starting the first level, on the second boot up. Otherwise, Astal seemed alright at first. Graphical issues were almost non-existent, framerate was perfectly stable, and the audio was fine, outside of slightly delayed voice clips. That was until I got to the fourth level. As showcased by the provided screenshot, the graphics start out glitchy, and gradually become more broken. It makes the level virtually unplayable, and immediately halts progress.
